Applying to Graduate in Genie

Even if you are not participating in a commencement ceremony, you still must apply in Genie to graduate, so the university knows you have completed all degree requirements.  If you miss the deadline to apply, you will not be officially changed to a “graduated” status until the following semester.

May vs. August Graduates

If you are completing all degree requirements (including internship) in the spring 2019 semester, you will be a May 2019 graduate.  If you have a final summer internship or course, you are an August 2019 graduate.  Be sure to sign up for the correct date when you apply in Genie to graduate.
