The Community Recreation and Event Planning concentration will prepare you to plan, implement, market, and manage  recreation programs and events in the public, non-profit, private, and for-profit sectors in recreation/leisure and health related industries. Career opportunities for our graduates include positions as an event planner, recreation center director, recreation program planner, aquatics director, park manager, youth and adult sports coordinator, campus recreation manager, sporting event planner, or owner of a commercial recreation business.
